Simone Olivari
About me
Hello! My name is Simone Olivari, I was born in Rome in 1972 and have lived in Florence for more than 30 years.
Originally, I moved there for military service, but then, fascinated by its beauty, I decided to stay in the Cradle of the Renaissance.
I share my passions with my partner Rita and my little superhero dog Bolt. We decided to name him after the little Disney dog because to us he is a real superhero: he was abandoned and managed to survive alone on the street.
Going to the theater is one of the things we do most often, as well as listening to music in live venues; My favorite artists are Vasco Rossi and Bruno Mars.
I love playing tennis and watching the matches of my favorite player, Roger Federer.
I take immense pleasure in traveling the world, in fact I have visited many countries including Indonesia, Bali Lombok, Mexico, the USA, Spain, Greece Turkey, England, Mauritius, Thailand, France, and Germany. My favorite continent, because of the contact with old traditions and respect for their culture mixed with new trends, is Asia.
In the future, I would like to have the opportunity to have more international assignments, so as to merge my two greatest passions together.
From a young age, I was passionate about the world of photography. I began by portraying world-famous artists in theaters and concerts, which I still do together with my partner Rita.
In the years to follow, I venture into the world of weddings, where I find satisfaction in creating empathy among the couples who hire me.
In 2021, I buy a drone and begin to see a world from a different perspective: from above. From then on, aerial photography, along with landscape AND architectural photography, become my main focus.
Among the works of which I am most proud is my collaboration with the British Institute in Florence, which, to celebrate its centenary, gave me the opportunity to be their photographer, on the occasion of the visit of the British Royalty.
